For Uber’s first foray into dynamic digital Outdoor advertising, I delivered a nationwide campaign that displayed Uber’s live availability in proximity to each advertising panel.
Using Uber’s public API (and a restriction lifted for the amount of calls made to it), passers-by could see how far away in minutes the nearest available Uber was.
The digital panels were all placed in high-footfall locations, near other transport options.
If the nearest Uber was further than 8 minutes away, the ETA information would not be displayed.
Uber received positive feedback and engaged our team again for a creative workshop to explore future campaign options.
